Graduating from home-movies, university proved a valuable training ground. My work on student films allowed me to make mistakes and learn from them. I quickly realized that with cinematography, I was in for a lifetime of learning.
A significant evolution came when I moved to Los Angeles and began spending time on numerous professional sets. Immersed in a variety of work environments from feature films and commercials to episodic television and music videos, I gleaned what I could from talented cinematographers and their crews.
As a cinematographer today, I strive to tell stories that are both compelling and visually intriguing. The most rewarding work I do is that which offers a fresh perspective on the world and challenges the human condition. As I continue to adapt and grow from my experiences in life, so too will my cinematography evolve.
